From his poor beginnings in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Jeffrey Lew became one of the prime movers in the minimalist movement in New York during the 1970's. There his legend begins. Fast forward to 2005 and Jeffrey is still producing his distinct brand of art. While his style may have moved beyond minimalism into what Jeffrey terms "contemporary realism", his work is still as powerful and evocative as ever. This website brings the art of Jeffrey Lew to the world.
